Glanford Curling Club Ice Rental

2025-26 Rates and Information

Children ages 7 and older are permitted to curl.
Children under the age of 7 are not allowed onto the ice surface.
Children between the ages of 7 and 16 must wear protective headgear/helmets (bike, skateboarder or hockey helmets allowed) when out on the ice.

It is the renter’s responsibility to bring headgear/helmets for the child(ren). Parents/guardians of minors must sign off on an “Ice Rental Participant Release Form” as well as Rowan’s Law concussion awareness resources and protocols on behalf of the minors (18 and under) before the children are permitted onto the ice.

All ice rentals (without Glanford Curling Members present) have a MANDATORY curling instructor fee of $50.00 per 12 curlers per 2 hours.
Staffing: Glanford Curling Club requires a member of the club to attend any function to ensure that all terms, conditions, and regulations are being observed and respected.

**Please Note - Club Policy states no outside alcohol allowed on premises. **
*** No alcohol permitted downstairs in lobby or on-ice***

Wednesday mornings 9 am-2:30 pm

Saturday 9-3pm

Sunday after 4:00pm

Ice, Main Lounge, Change Rooms
Up to 24 people (8 per sheet of ice).

Ice Sheet Rental with Lounge and Bar
2 hour minimum
Members - $400.00 + HST
Non-members - $465.00 + HST

Ice Sheet Rental and Lounge
2 hour minimum
Members - $325.00 + HST
Non-members - $400.00 + HST

Lounge Room only, No Ice - (upstairs non-accessible facility)
4 hour rental
Member - $275.00 + HST
Non-members - $350.00 +HST

Lounge Room with Bar, No ice - (upstairs non-accessible facility)
4 hour rental
Member - $350.00 + HST
Non-members - $425.00 + HST

Deposit: A $400.00 damage deposit, for non-members, must be submitted with this agreement and will be refunded after the facility has been inspected and found to be maintained and undamaged. Any applicant/user who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein will bear full responsibility for any costs incurred and the deposit will be forfeited.

Payment: Glanford Curling Club accepts cash, cheque, and e-transfers, sorry - no credit cards.

Cheques made out to: Glanford Curling Club Inc.
Payment must be in full amount, 7 days ahead of the event.

Ice Sheet Protocol: Please respect our ice surface. Be aware of any rocks heading for the hacks as this can cause damage and result in a forfeit of the deposit fee if damaged.

Brooms and Sliders: May be available for use in the club, lessee is responsible for damage or loss other than normal wear and tear.

Curlers: Must bring a clean pair of running shoes to wear on the surface. These shoes may not be worn to the club. Clean, dry shoes are essential. They should be rubber soled and
have sufficient tread to avoid slipping on the ice. Curlers must conduct themselves in a manner that will not endanger themselves or others.

Responsibility: Glanford Curling Club will not be responsible for personal injury or damage, for the loss or theft of any article of clothing or equipment of the applicant or anyone
attending. The Lessee will be responsible for any damages incurred during rental. Glanford Curling Club will have a representative present at any function. The representative acts
under the authority of the Glanford Curling Club and should be given the support and cooperation by lessee.

Cancellation: Cancellation will be accepted up to 2 days prior to an event. Cancellation after this time will result in a forfeit of the deposit fee. The Glanford Curling Club reserves the
right, for just cause, to cancel this event.

Ice Rental Participant Release Form for Curlers over 18 will be available at the Curling Club for all renters to sign before going on ice.

**Glanford Curling Club Concussion Protocol: 9-1-1 must be called if a fall on the ice results in a head hitting the ice. EMTs must clear the curler before returning to play. **
