Scotch Doubles offers a unique curling experience that emphasizes teamwork and strategy with less sweeping required( sweeping is not permitted between the hog lines). For teams of two who want a fun, fast-paced game without the intensity of traditional sweeping, this format is an excellent choice. It allows for more direct involvement in each shot and makes curling accessible to a wider range of player. Each end is played with six rocks, instead of the usual eight, shortening the length of each end and increases participation for both curlers, making it a great fit for both new and seasoned curlers.
